The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diasporas has inaugurated today the General Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Struga.
“The opening of this consulate is evidence of a bilateral commitment to deepening further inter-state relations which continue to be excellent, which has been reconfirmed even during the recent official visit of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Northern Macedonia”, the report said.
As it becomes known, the General Consulate of the Republic of Kosovo in Struga will serve as a bridge to further advance bilateral reports, economic and cultural interaction, but also representations of the protection of the rights of Kosovo citizens in this part of Northern Macedonia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Melisa Haradinaj-Subla recognises this as a success of Kosovo diplomacy, which despite extraordinary challenges with the COVID19 pandemic, has managed to expand its diplomatic network by ensuring the dignified representation of the Republic of Kosovo in the region and beyond.
