Shortly before the next session in The Hague against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, members of the “group Drenica O2” gathered in Prekaz to honour the war of the KLA and its leaders, who are being tried in the Specialised Chambers in The Hague.
The latter, in a sign of solidarity with KLA leaders, who are being tried by the Special Court, have waved the national flag around the town of Scikyright, while many of them had placed in their cars even banners with former President Hashim Thaci's portrait and former Prime Minister Kadri Veselin.
The son of nation hero Halim Brahimi, Patriot, has said that in this form they are honouring the holy war of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
According to him, this activity is organised as a sign of solidarity with former KLA leaders.
Our “Deliverers, who are accused, have been charged with war crimes charges, have come out to honour, respect and show that even though two thousand and 700 martyrs of Kosovo have fallen for freedom, their companions are alive and innocent”, he said.
Brahimi said that “Auto Drenica 02” has done a good job, while waiting for such activities to be again in the future.
I believe that the owner of Egzon Shala has organized something good, but we expect more to be done with honoring our rescuers”, he added.
Otherwise, “Auto Drenica 02” has warned of a similar event on November 28th.
