The court has also decided that the HDZ party will return money stolen through this agency. A total of 14.6m euros have been confiscated by the Court.
Together with former prime minister and HDZ President Ivo Sanader, who was sentenced to eight years, former HDZ shareholder Mladen Barisic and cashier Branka Pavosevic also received prison sentences in the Fimi Media case, while HDZ must pay 3.5 million fines and bring 14 back to the budget, another 6 million.
Barış was sentenced to two years and 10 months, while Pavojevic was sentenced to one year and four months in prison.
Party spokesman Ratko Macek, who was the only one to receive a parole sentence in the first trial, has now been acquitted.
