In Italy, 731 people died from the consequences of the last 24 hours, which is the highest since April 3rd, while another 32.191 cases were confirmed, which is about 5,000 more than a day ago, the Health Ministry announced today.
208,458 people were tested or about 50,000 more than 24 hours ago, Reuters reports.
Italy is the first Western European country to be affected by the virus since the beginning of the year, and 46,464 people have died so far.
The highest number of cases was recorded in Lombardi, which was also the most affected by the 8.448 cases, twice as many as Monday.
