Islamic Community: Mulla Osmani physically attacked our official at the workplace

BIK spokesman Ahmet Sadriou has told Insider that their secretary, Eset Bayraktari, has been attacked at the post from the hoja, Osman Musliu. Bajraktari's Osmani has been arrested by Kosovo police until the same have been released today.

“We are aware of the case, Osman Musliu and BIK Secretary in Drenas Eset Bayraktari has been arrested. Osmani has gone on to attack BIK Secretary Eset Bayraktari at his workplace, it is clear that after the attack he has reacted, and the case has been reported to the police. Police have been exiled and arrested, but today they have been released”, Sadriu said.

Asked what measures to take BIK in this case, Sadriu has indicated they are awaiting an official report by the Islamic Community Council in Drenas, and then to take some measure.

On the other hand, Hodge lawyer Osman Musliu Gazmend Halilaj has indicated that his client is self-protected.

“Hoja had an invitation yesterday, was detained at approximately 6 a.m. for the criminal offense of the attack, but after verifying the actual state with a more literal analysis on the prosecutor's side, and with the defence contribution it has been found there is no legal basis for staying in detention. And the prosecution immediately released it”, Halilaj said of Inseder.

According to lawyer Halilaj, the hoja has been in the midst of an unprovocational attack on his part and has acted in self-defense, not overstepping borders for a moment.

The beating case happened the day before inside the BIK facility in Drenas.
