The Special Prosecutor in Pristina has filed a new indictment against suspects for help in committing the murder of Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, defence lawyers Dejan Vasic and Faruk Korenica have confirmed.
This is the third indictment set up in this case and all three charges are almost identical to some very small corrections, which are essentially not relevant to the issue. This is the same indictment against the same persons, for the same event, entirely the same”, attorney Dejan Vasic told Radio Free Europe .
The Special Prosecutor filed the first indictment on December 2, 2019, and only a feasibility session was held on February 11th of this year.
The session was scheduled for December 30th in advance, but it was canceled because then-Prosecutor Syla Hoxha presented a new, changed indictment.
