Hoti made these comments during the signing ceremony of contracts for grants schemes, the economic recovery programme, which was organised by the Regional Development Ministry.
He said there are about 500 workers on this stage who will benefit jobs.
I hope that this symbolic measure, however, is a particular relief for small and medium-sized businesses and is of interest that specifics of different regions have been taken in terms of regional development. We have other measures as you know of business support... this measure is not the last one, we're forced to raise a fund for economic recovery that we've made of an 182 million worth of budget, but it's going to grow, I believe that during two readings in the Assembly we're going to grow it further, and we're also discussing with donors, our developmental partners to do all the funds together in the function of economic recovery. Our whole focus during this period has been on helping families, helping businesses to somehow stay in the market“, he said.
Regional Development Minister Enis Kurvan has congratulated all beneficiaries of the grant scheme, which amounts to 8m euros.
“Applications believe they have had all guidelines regarding criteria and application process available. Of the 667 applicants who have been in total, today we are signing contracts with 156 of them as beneficiaries from five development regions, tear 1 out of a total 59 beneficiaries and tears 2, 97 businesses or beneficiaries“, he said.
According to him, this scheme aims to employ about 500 new workers, will contribute to advanced business processes and export growth.
