Hoti has said that as many times, even now Kosovo is facing trials.
“As many times before historical history we have faced trials, overcoming our state maturity. Recent developments as a result of confirming the charges, including President Hashim Thaci, former Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi and former head of the Parliament Kadri Veselin and MP Rexhep Selimi, have all put the state to the test”, he has said.
The prime minister said he appreciates their position to respond to justice.
“I welcome their readiness, attitude and institutional culture that proves that Kosovo trusts justice and joins justice without any hesitation. As prime minister and citizen, take a look at our efforts to reach the freedom we enjoy. In 98-99 the world was seeing genocide over the people of Kosovo. Today two decades later this rescue intervention is remembered as an act of high international humanity. So we will always be grateful to the friendly countries that helped us in the most critical cysts of our history. We will work jointly to strengthen institutions, the future lies above all of us, we will each on our own seas to serve the Republic of Kosovo”, he has said.
The first of the Government has called for stability and co-operation among all institutions and political parties.
In these difficult times with pandemic we are facing strengthening stability, we must show wisdom and vision together to face this test. I'm convinced we're going out in front of the world as always. The government estimates that stability of institutions should be maintained in terms of exercising constitutional capacities, the government vows that it will work hard to realise its goals. The government will co-operate with all carriers of institutions, we expect co-operation from all subjects in the country. The government expects all to continue demonstrating high political culture, believe justice, and without full justice a country cannot have peace with itself or with others. This is the government's position regarding developments”, he has said.
