Heart: Disturbing rise in number of cases with COVID-19 in Podujevo

Zemaj said recent data concerning the epidemiological situation in Podujevo is disturbing, noting that 264 people were infected last week alone.

He appealed that all candidates in the municipal election campaign on November 29th respect the decisions of the Government and the Health Ministry.

In this case, Minister Zemaj has thanked health personnel for engaging in this pandemic situation.

I pledge that by the end of the hospital, the citizens of Llap will not lack necessary health services”, Zemaj said, indicating that the KKMF will be assisted with medical equipment.

At the emergency headquarters meeting, Deputy Chairman Nedmi Rudari said that despite recent measures by the Government of Kosovo for restricting movement and activities, the Podujevo municipality has worsening the epidemiological situation and increasing the number of affected COVID-19.

He took the risk of spreading the coronary during the days of the election campaign, and sought to avoid gathering with more people than is allowed with the government's recent measures, as well as by respecting safeguards.

By contrast, in Podujevo there are about 3 thousand people in vetoation as a result of COVID, 439 cases are still active, while the struggle with dangerous illness has lost 30 patients.
