Heart: Child Hospital will be an example for the region as well

After visiting within the facility, Minister Zemaj said that jobs at this facility are towards completion and that this hospital, according to him, will be an example for the region as well. As he spoke of the importance of this object, Zemaj said this facility would also facilitate the work of health professionals and children in Kosovo.

We're facing a poor pandemic situation, unfortunately pandemic and the virus is taking lives, but our insistence and our priority is that life begins to turn focus and be more attentive to creating stable conditions and support for health professionals, facilitate jobs and enable a better life. This centre has almost come to an end and will also facilitate our work as management and, above all, health professionals, Kosovo children, mothers and parents who will have easier treatment and access to services... This hospital will be an example for the region as well. Not only for Kosovo that I will enable, but you see and the interconnection that has been made and it is well planned”, Zemaj said.

Ud director-in-chief Suudin Maliqi says the jobs being done at this children's hospital are impressive.

It was impressive that the work done there and that's a very large asset very good for WHICH and a great benefit for all children. We enjoy this phenomenon and we are happy that this comes to us here in Kosovo”, Maliqi said.

E The heart was also asked about the anti - emdesiviviral drug CO VID, which has high costs and is not on the essential list.

With what happens Minister Zemaj said very soon this drug will reach Kosovo as well.

The ministry has it in procurement procedure in two variants of an internal and one through the procurement of the European Community. Very soon there will be some significant amounts based on the planning that unfortunately was slightly easier because the period of September and October had lower infection rates and much less hospital cases, but however very fast this too would come to the aid of the citizens who are being treated and preferred to medical therapy. Zemaj has also talked about complaints about patients' spending on COVID-19.

Any budgetary opportunities that the MSH has and is offered by the Kosovo government, which has shown particular interest in receiving my mandate, even the best co-ordination with donors any opportunity of relief we are using. And for COVIED-19 hospital, he said all legal procedures are being followed and that everything is in consultation with experts who will handle COVID cases, but he underlined that their interest is later to return to Emergency, as planned before this event.

Days ago it was also talked about the use of private hospitals and hotels for treating COVID cases. But Zemaj has said to be spared from these discussions, which, as he said, require more treatment.
