Kosovo President Hashim Thaci today will be represented by one of the best lawyers in the world, with experience over two decades in international tribunalines.
Our sources have confirmed that President Thaci today will be represented by the lawyer from Great Britain, David Hooper, who has been handling high profile issues throughout his career.
Part of Thaci's team of lawyers is American Pierre-Richard Prosper, former prosecutor and former official of the American government. He served as Special Ambassador for War Crimes Issues by the administration of former US President George W. Bush in 2001-05.
While lawyer David Hooper had long ago defended Kenya's vice president, William Ruto, being declared innocent in a lack of evidence.
He was the leader in the case of Andre Reamakuba, in Rwanda's International Tribunal, which he had firmly acquired.
Other cases that Hooper has been part of include the International Court in The Hague, Kenya, and other African countries, and now play a key role in the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal Mechanism in Tanzania.
Hooper has graduated from the University of Kent in Cutterbury and ranks as one of the best lawyers for criminal cases from Chambers and Partners 2021.
