Greeks have flocked in recent hours to quarantine that general three weeks nationwide to retail trade stores.
Long lines were formed in front of shopping malls where buyers waited patiently, while even in the evening hours, the biggest Christmas traffic of the last two years has been registered with citizens of the capital who have wanted to exploit their departure from Athens and return Sunday before the general impasse.
Meanwhile, health specialists and respective organs warn that the largest number of cases are now recorded in the 19-39 age group, while a rise in the number of deaths in the coming days by Ovid 19 is expected.
Although the total number of our citizens in 1 million people who have lost their lives from the beginning of the pandemic, they are still low in Greece compared to European data, on the other hand the average number of Greeks who died within a week has passed the figure of 10 people a day, and unfortunately we expect to grow dramatically in the coming days.
Even during Friday day, Greece has again recorded record numbers of cases, 2448 infected persons, and the total number has gone to 52,254.
Once again, Thessaloniki, located on 4th Day full quarantine with 683 cases, comes Athens with 493 , Larissa with 120 and Drama with 100.
With great concern experts report that the number of collections has already reached 196 people. Also, the number of victims from the body from the beginning of the pandemic has gone to 715, out of them 14 in the last 24 hours.
Deputy Civil Defence Minister has announced Friday evening that just as national holidays on March 25th and October 28th and even Easter celebrations have been cancelled, the celebration ceremony for the anniversary of Polytechnikum on November 17th, which has been met with criticism from leftist groups and Greek opposition parties.
