DP leader Lulzim Basha has faced charges that there have been “legally” in some investigations against The UCK he committed UNMIK.
To assist him today in Tirana, Agim Bahtiri, a member of LVV and chairman of South Mitrovica has stood by him.
I have the pleasure of welcoming Mitrovica municipality chairman Mr. Agim Bahtiri today. As an honorary citizen of Mitrovica, I want to first express my sincere gratitude and thanks for his visit, but also for the warm hospitality he received during my official visit to Kosovo a few months ago. We have talked about the major challenges Kosovo is facing today, and the necessity for a united response to the interests of Albania and Kosovo in national interests and solidification with Kosovo, with citizens, with Kosovo's institutions for dealing with these difficulties”, was quoted as saying Basha hosting Bahtiri.
Mitrovica's leader, meanwhile, said he has gone to visit Basha for having done much for Kosovo,
“Today I have come to visit my friend and citizen because for his work and contribution to Kosovo, I have declared Mr. Lulzim Basha an honorary citizen. And I have come to give full support to all the challenges the country is facing, both in Kosovo and Albania. Therefore, I also make an appeal, to all leaders of political parties, both in Albania and in Kosovo to join today as a body because we have a tragedy in Kosovo which Kosovo is in a very bad situation and grief because our deliverers, the Kosovo Liberation Army today, are being treated unjustly in The Hague.
