The head of the Council for Defence of War veterans' Rights, Geevdet Qrerici, spoke to the media today, near the home of former KLA spokesman Jakup Krasniqi, where raids by EULEX forces are being conducted.
He said Krasniqi's family are not being allowed out until the raid begins.
Speaking of Krasniqi's role, he expressed surprise how a raid or arrest could take place against him.
“won't let them get out until the book starts. Mr Krasniqi has been a spokesman for The NLA's and it's strange how bets and an indictment arises when his contribution is known. These officials are co-operating directly with Serb criminals, and they are unjustly dealing with KLA soldiers. War has been clean, and we have no doubt in this direction”, Qariqi said.
He also spoke of steps veterans can take, which he said are in contact with the KLA OVL.
