Vesic said he expects the court to say whether the ban on movement of people in Europe is allowed.
He reiterated to TV Pink that he was barred from entering Kosovo on Monday because according to Kosovo authorities he was “risking for security”.
The deputy chairman said the reason he wanted to come to Kosovo was to sign a statute for twinning North Mitrovica with Belgrade.
Vesic said that if he had allowed entry into Kosovo he would have visited the residential building in northern Mitrovica for the shelter of 20 refugee families who, according to him, have lived in collective housing for more than 10 years, as well as in the construction of a Belgrade-funded park and playground.
“Pristina's message to Serbs in Kosovo is that Serbian children have no right in the park and playground, and that Serbs have no right in apartments. Pristina did not stop me, but the City of Belgrade. This is a violation of the Brussels Agreement. This best shows why they do not allow the formation of the JCC, because Serbs from Kosovo would co-operate with the whole world, not only with Belgrade”, Vesic said, Tanjug reported.
He said co-operation between cities is being promoted in the EU, and that Pristina yesterday tried to prevent co-operation between Belgrade and North Mitrovica.
The “is a policy that we need to create continued uncertainty and create conditions for Serbs to leave Kosovo. This policy applies to the Prizren League. If Hoti wanted to build a playground in Presevo, we would not have prevented him, because we think Serbian and Albanian children should have a game square”, Vesic said.
A delegation from Belgrade led by municipality deputy leader Goran Vesic was detained yesterday around 09:30 in Jarinje by Kosovo Police.
