And for that decision, the Gastronomia Association has reacted through an announcement saying that if politics continues to intervene in this way in the state economy, gastronomia will be reversed and that it will hardly be recovered.
Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Tahiri has also spoken of these measures. Tahiri has said the decision on limiting gastronomy sector operation has been taken as a result of professional recommendations, while adding that since there is no vaccine against the virus, we should prepare to live with pandemics.
Some measures have been taken that result from increasing the number of people infected with a screw-19, both Government and the Ministry of Zemaj. We are well aware of the situation in the private sector, in particular with that of gastronomy, this closure comes from the very powerful recommendations of professionals that in these circumstances start with this phase. In these circumstances, since we don't have a vaccine, we don't have a quick medical action to prepare to live with pandemics, as if it never leaves”, Tahiri said.
Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri has said that at the beginning of the week they will have a meeting with the Gastronomous Association, to see what will be done for the sector. As he added that one must be found between the functioning of the private sector and life in general.
“We need the measures, we need to tighten discipline to the greatest extent possible, but given the private sector... we know exactly what demand is. I believe we'll talk to the Gastronomy Association early in the week so we can see what we can do for them. However, in the midst of public health, between life and work, we have to find a middle that facilitates and enables the functioning of the private sector and life in general, but we have to be careful”, Tahiri told Kosovas.
The Kosovo Gastronomous Association has scheduled an extraordinary meeting Monday at 2: 00 a.m. near OEK's spaces, to drain the proposals of the members of the Assembly, and decided on future steps that will be honoured by this sector. The new measures are expected to take effect on Monday.
