The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Arben Gashi, has stated that at the meeting called today for the party's chairmanship, the Economic Regeneration Law was discussed.

He even added that he hopes this law will pass this week.

“Economic Recovery Law and hopefully will pass this week”, Gashi said.

He further added that the outcome of the elections in Podujevo was not satisfactory for LDK and that they would normally deal with it to avoid problems in the upcoming elections.

The Podujevo resolution is an unpleasant result for us, and normally we will run tests to avoid problems in the next elections”, Gashi added.

Asked whether they missed the elections in Podujevo because of Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj's statements to Vetevendosje Movement MP Saranda Bogujevci, Gashi has said things can be personalised.

I don't think things are so personalized. Of course, there's been a break in the process somewhere and we'll see. No, because it's more complex than that”, Gashi said when asked whether the loss in the Podujevo is the first defeat in connection with the Vetevendosje Movement, he added.

The LDK lost elections in the Podujevo municipality last night after the several-year leadership. This municipality will now be run by Bulliqi, who won the elections with over 51%, without having to move towards the runoff.
