Finance Minister: The fight against thieves even with Guardia di Finanza

Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has announced that last week Guardia di Finanza along with Italian Ambassador Nicola Orlando have visited the Ministry of Finance in Kosovo, where he talked about a possible project between Gurdia di Finanza, ATK, Customs and NJIF,

Bajrami has said that the aim of this co-operation is to combat evasion, informality, smuggling, money laundering and other illegal activities that harm public finances.

” After the theft in Thesar, in the quality of the finance minister, I have sent letters to Italian Ambassadors to include in the fields of co-operation the Treasury, with its auditing emphasis on Thesar, but also to raise the level of security and integrity of the system. I've already asked from the EU ambassador. Thomas Szunyog and the EU financial charge for Gurdia di Finaza to audit Treasury”, Bajrami wrote.

She stressed that the fight against thieves will continue with all possible local and international capacities.
