At the statuteic or ongoing conference of the issue, Hashim Thaci's defence, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi, has demanded that the trial against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders be launched no sooner than in the summer of 2022.

Meanwhile, in support of former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders have emerged some exiles living abroad who have travelled to The Hague to support the deliverers. But some of them have been hampered by Special Security to protest with the reasoning that they wear KLA logo masks.

Exile Skender Shaban, who lives in Hamburg, Germany, has said he had been prevented from securing the court building to protest in the mask, carrying the Kosovo Liberation Army emblem.

I am not allowed to ensure the Tribunal protest in KLA”'s logo, he said.

Otherwise, the prosecution accuses Thaci, Veselin, Krasniqi and Selimi of committing war crimes. They were arrested two weeks ago, while in their first appearance before judges they have flatly denied the charges they are being charged with.
