The country ranks first in terms of the percentage of people who have died from COVID-19 in Europe, and the number of new cases remains high, more than 40,000 a day.
To slow the spread of the virus, Angelov requires the closure of all schools, gardens, restaurants and shops, excluding food stores.
“Restorants will be allowed to send food, but nightclubs, leisure and sports sites will also be shut down”, the health minister said at a press conference.
Meanwhile, it will also urge the government to extend the state of emergency pandemic by the end of March 2021.
Otherwise, new measures will take effect starting in November 27th.
