The regulation of the Kosovo Central Election Commission envisions that if an MP leaves his position for different reasons, he is followed by a candidate who has the most votes, according to the same gender.
Former Chairman PDK, Kadri Veselini, announced today that after confirming the indictment against him, it has decided to resign from public and party positions.
Consequently, the PDK MP candidate Fadil Nura is expected to take over Kadri Wessel's seat, as there are more votes than the other candidates who have been competing on the PDK list, who have failed to enter the Assembly, the GE reports.
Meanwhile, it is not yet known whether Rexhep Selimi will also have replacements, as the latter has publicly not announced the resignation.
