U.S. embassy appeals to Kosovo citizens after increasing cases

The American Embassy has declared that discipline is necessary to return normality to the country.

“We need to work together to lower the curve in Kosovo. Discipline and solidarity are needed to bring Kosovo back to work. You stay at home and you put your mask on”, it says on the embassy appeal.

With these measures, depending on which areas of risk the country's municipalities are located, quarantine and gastronomy's allowed work is also defined.

According to measures that enter into force from Friday to Friday, in Pristina and 6 other Kosovo municipalities, there will be <x0 hours of police”.

In contrast, economic activity will be permitted between 05 a.m. and 6:00, 7:00 or 8:00, depending on which estimated danger zone the municipality is located.

The municipalities are divided into three danger areas, according to the number of infected - high - risk red area, medium - risk yellow area, and the lower - risk green area. The municipalities in the <x0) red area” are: Pristina, Podujevo, South Mitrovica, Peja, Gjakova, Gjilani and Ferizaj.

These municipalities have been named at high risk of infection, as they have over 150 people infected at 100,000 people within the week.
