Elections Close in Podujevo, North Mitrovica

By 1500 in the Podujevo municipality, 26 thousand citizens or 29.76 percent have voted. In the northern part of Mitrovica, however, 30.3 percent of citizens have voted, or 7 thousand and 62 voters.

The election process in the municipality of Podujevo and North Mitrovica has been held in the calm and unaccident atmosphere.

Election Commission Chairman Valdete Daka has said she has not accepted information about any irregularities and that the voting process is continuing normally.

“Based on the Communist Election Commission data in the Podujevo municipality, by 1500 have voted 29.76% of voters, or 26 thousand voters from 87 thousand and 381, what is their total number. In the 2017 local elections, up to the same hour, 26 thousand and 37 voters had voted, or 31%. In the Northern Mitrovica municipality, however, 30.3% of voters have voted, or 7 thousand and 62 voters, from 23 thousand and 313 voters, as many as their number. In the 2017 local elections, by the same time, 6 thousand and 275 voters had voted or 29%”, Daka indicated.
