Donald Trump was not scheduled to be part of “Home Alone”, so he won the role

The 74-year-old president was not supposed to be in the popular movie of 1992, but director Chris Columbus was told that the only way he would get permission to shoot a scene in the lobby of the Plaza Hotel was to give the owner a role in the movie, writes the Daily Mail.

Trump said okay. We paid the fee, but he also said: “The only way to use Plaza is if I'm in the movie,” the director told a source.

And the director admitted he was unprepared for the audience's response when evidence shows were held.

So we agreed to put it in the movie and when we first showed it, the weirdest thing happened: People cheered when Trump appeared on screen”, Chris said.

The president has made film shows in several films, including Zoalander and The Associate, but one of his scenes that did not make the last write-off was at the Center of A Woman, in 1992, which was directed by Martin Brest.

Chris O'Donnell who played in the movie with Al Pacino, Gabrielle Anwar and Philip Seimour Hoffman earlier recalled taking a scenario that said we were making a scene with Donald Trumpão.

He added: He explained to us that in order to film in Plaza, it was to have a small piece for Trump and [formerly-woman] Marla [Maples].
