So has Austrian journalist Florian Klenk declared, through a tweet post saying one of the terrorists of Monday's attack in Austria has Albanian roots.
Through a Twitter post, he said the same was targeted by the military secret service.
Klenk has said this 20-year-old person had attempted to go to Syria in July this year, but had been stopped by Austrian authorities.
Vienna's “Terrorist is named Kurtin S., born in 2000, is 20-year-old, is born and raised in Vienna, has Albanian roots, parents stem from northern Macedonia. My parents have not noticed Islam. The terrorist has been targeted by the Austrian secret service, as he was one of the 90 Islamists who wanted to go to Syria”, he has said.
Three people have already been confirmed by Vienna police until 15 others are injured.
According to authorities, the attack has Islamic motives.
