At Sunday's “NATO summit” in Belgrade, Brown also thanked Serbia and its president, Aleksandar Vuciq, for as the “sophisticated policies towards Kosovo” said.
He added that Serbia “gained points in America” from the fact that it is stable and that it acted as a stabilising factor in the Balkans, especially in relation to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Serbia is eventually doing a great service to Bosnia by maintaining a stable relationship with Republika Srpska. President Vuciq is co-operating with Kosovo and Albania in a reasonable way. In that sense, the Vuciki administration can have good relations with the Benden administration,” said Brown, B92 reported.
He added that the United States must continue to support dialogue and use its power to enable and further facilitate dialogue.
“America is key when it comes to Kosovo, it can ensure the Kosovo government's co-operation. In that sense, if we want to reach a deal, America is essential and can really help,” said Brown.
He estimated Trump was a disaster for America and its position in the world, but it was not a disaster for the Balkans. As he claimed, American politics in the Balkans maintained continuity during the Trump administration
