Decani historians: Hoti to Publicise Decan-Plav Road Deal

The League of Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri” The Decan branch has again asked Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti to publish the agreement reached on November 9, 2020, regarding the construction of the Decan-Plav road, this agreement negotiated by him personally and the other parties affected in that direction. In a media communique [...]

A media communiqué reportedly does not publish this agreement by the Government of Kosovo, is a bad signal to Decanin and its residents, and that no one has the right to make bad deals in the face of the interests of Decani citizens and in favour of the Decani Monastery, the most performed, reportedly, diplomatic missions such as Russian and Serbian embassy in Kosovo.

“BO LL MA is privileged the Decani Monastery and its personnel. They're showing more state than our country. This is unacceptable. Prime Minister Hoti, don't hesitate! Release the deal! We, we're not going to stop until we publish this” agreement, the communique ends.

We remember that with the mediation of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and the support of KFOR Commander General Michele Ries, agreement was reached on design, construction and use of roads that pass through the special protected area of the Decani Monastery.

The permanent mechanization of implementation and oversight (The Endeavour and Supervision Council) based on the Law on Special Protection Areas, has approved the terms of this agreement, and thus has been given to the Green Framework Agreement agreed on implementation.
