The Austrian state has declared three days of mourning starting today, following terrorist attacks at Vienna's six locations.
While a minute of silence will take place at noon, to remember the victims and flags at official buildings would be lowered to half a spear, reports The Guardian.
Meanwhile, the Austrian government has now confirmed reports that five people have died, including an assailant who was shot dead by police.
The Austrian Press Agency (APA) says the other seven are in a life - threatening state.
