Croatia will continue to build partnership relations with the United States, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said today, following the announcement that Democrat Joe Biden has won the presidential election.
He declared there is much linking the US and Croatia, and of course the broader transatlantic partnership that exists between the US and the EU, Hina reported.
“According to the data we have now, I think it's certain what the result is. We praised President-elect Beden, Vice President-elect Kamali Harris, and we will continue to build Allied relations, partnership, quality between Croatia and the United States,” said Plenkovic.
He noted that the presidential elections showed an extraordinary interest in American citizens in getting to the polls.
“We have almost 145 million people in the democratic process, which I think is very good,” Prime Minister Plenkov noted.
