In the Treaty bill already prepared by the European Council in terms of visa liberalisation for Kosovo, only reiterated that “Council understands the importance of visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens”, the “proposal is under consideration at the Council” and is reminded that the European Commission had proposed since 2018 that Kosovo's visas be removed.
The EU Council, as stated in the text prepared for these conflicts, which should be approved by member states, requires Serbia to continue processing war crime cases. Also urged by Serbia to prevent deregulation of war criminals
EU rapporteur for Kosovo Violet von Cremon has reacted, saying it is not enough that visa liberalisation has been discussed for Kosovars.
She has said that Kosovo citizens want to have a date clear, and that depends on the European Council.
I rejoice that the European Union Council has discussed visa liberalisation for Kosovo. However, that is not enough. Kosovo citizens want to have a date clear. All this depends only on the Council”, Cromon writes in her post.
