COVID's pandemic is being associated with suicide phenomenon worldwide.

Italian media report that 71 cases of COVID being affected have been ending their lives since March across the country. Fenomen has also touched doctors who know how to treat diseases, but French football doctor Reims ended his life in April after it was found to have been infected.

A study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry shows that suicidal thoughts increased among young people in the United Kingdom during the March-May period.

The study found that the percentage of respondents who reported that at least one day last week they had wanted to end their lives rose from 8.2% to 9.2%, and then to 9.8%, to three study waves.

The facts in Britain showed that the phenomenon has increased when it was reported that a young nurse killed herself on her shift in a British hospital. A few days later, a 37-year-old British patient, who had been bedridden for 5 days at the hospital, also committed suicide. Three Russian doctors have committed suicide by jumping out of the hospital window after resulting positive with COVID-19, as a result of emotional stress and fear of the effects of infection.

The number of suicides in Japan has increased in October for the fourth consecutive month. This is the highest number of the last five years.

Of the preliminary data, the number of suicides in October was 2153 or 300 more than the previous month.

Among the main causes are thought to be the consequences created by the pandemic of COVID-19.

Measures taken by the Turkish government in preventing spread of pandemic have yielded negative effects on the economy. Almost 100 musicians have committed suicide since the beginning of the pandemic in Turkey. In Ukraine, there were four suicides in hospitals. /Tch
