China only becomes the third place to collect stones and dust from the lunar surface.
Named Changée 5, after the ancient Chinese goddess of the moon, the four cosmic ship modules were launched with the mass rocket from a southern province in Hainan, writes Independent, translates Periscopi.
The ambitious mission aims to launch the spacecraft in an area called Oceanus Procellarum to demand that they receive lunar material by drilling the surface for a considerable part.
These materials will then be returned to earth. Information gathered by scientists will help them to understand the origin, formation and lunar system generally. /Periscope
