This figure is over 24,000 units more than the latest daily figure, recorded on October 31st.

More than 48.5 million cases of infection have been recorded worldwide since the beginning of the virus outbreak late last year.

Experts expect the actual number of cases to be much higher than the official number.

In terms of absolute numbers, the United States, India and Brazil are the most affected countries.

More than 1.2 million people have died from Coved-19.
