Borrell welcomes the opportunity for friendly collaboration with Beden

European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell welcomed Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential election today and praised Donald Trump's re-opening the door of EU co-operation with the new American president, who does not see Europe as an enemy.

Borrell in a writing on his blog announced that he would avoid the usual diplomatic protocol and the practice of avoiding the expression of political love, saying he was simply satisfied with the outcome of the American elections, Reuters reports.
