Vetevendosje Movement MP Saranda Bogujevci does not accept the apology of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, regarding his deputy's statements to the found. Bogujevci says that while the head of government estimates that Selmanaj's statements have been distorted, there is nothing to apologise for.
The MP from Albin Kurti's party, in an interview for Kosovo Press, says if there is a point of dignity Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj should not go to tomorrow's Parliament session.
The moment you say his words are distorted, you don't actually believe he made that mistake. I don't understand what you're apologizing for. I've mentioned it now and every time, I don't have a problem with me as Saranda, since the apology had to come from the beginning, from the moment it was said that this subject has been consumed and excited. From the moment we had trouble having, both the deputy prime minister and the prime minister on the commission. After many pressures have arrived. This should be an apology for family members, the part they have been touched with words and the discussion of the matter. You don't have to apologize to me, you have to apologize to those who have been hurt these days. This is important to me”, she says.
If Selamayna tomorrow is to appear in the plenary hearings hall, MP Bogujevci does not show what actions the Parliamentary Group of the Vetevendosje will take, which days ago said they do not accept the third government's in the Assembly.
I think if there's a point of dignity, he (Selmanaj) doesn't do it (don't participate in session). In fact, so far he's had to resign from his post. I'm still saying not why it has something to do with me, or my subject, but because of the family and the demands of the citizens who have so far, their concern in this regard. The other is problematic the fact that we are Parliament deputies and whether in hearings, or commissions, government officials completely, or ignore, or use bad language. We're in our house, I think the Parliament should be respected and the one who issued such statements has at least dignity... to see how the time will turn out during session”, Bogujevci said.
And for reactions after last week's events for the missing, Boguyevci says the goal has been to find a good solution for the unemployed, not just to speak.
She estimates that it is better for the government not to mention this topic at all in the dialogue process than to continue in this form as it is.
We didn't intend to have a session just to talk about the issue of the dead. We have had a session because it is disturbing the way the issue of the undiscovered is addressed in dialogue with Serbia. This has been the specific topic, we are not talking about Kosovo's internal issues, but about the question of the unawares how it is addressed in dialogue with Serbia. This is to our harm and cause if we are treated equally towards Serbia. I've mentioned it now, and every time there are experts in this field, there must be concrete requirements, concrete arguments against Serbia for handling this issue. Frankly, it is better not to mention this subject in this process of dialogue than in the form that has been made”, she declares.
Last week on the subject of the missing people, there were major tensions at the Kosovo Assembly session, where MPs were also close to a physical clash.
While deputy Saranda Bogujevci himself is the survivor of the Podujevo massacre by Serb forces in 1999.
