Biden in victory speech: This is the time to heal America

I have submitted to your faith. I vow to be president who doesn't try to separate, but to unite, who doesn't see red states and blue states, but only the United States”, Biden said.
He spoke in his state, Dellauer, hours after the US media predicted his victory in the state of Pennsylvania, with which he exceeded the 270 votes of the Electoral College, needed to be elected president.
Beden competed in the November 3rd election against current President Donald Trump, who said he does not accept the outcome and would challenge him in court.
Let's give each other a chance. It's time to stop the harsh rhetoric, reduce the temperature, see each other, listen to each other... stop treating our opponents as enemies”, Biden said in the speech that was broadcast live on American media.
He quoted the Book of Ecclesiastes, saying that there are “times for everything”. “This is the time to heal America”, Biden said.
I'm going to work as much for those who didn't vote on me as for those who voted for me”, Biden pledged.
He said his first task would be to take control of the coronary pandemic.
“It's the only way we can go back to normal life”, Biden said, and added that “would not save any attempt to end pandemic.
And I believe America is a beacon for the 148x1> globe, Biden said.
Let's be the nation we know we can be. A united nation, a strengthened nation, a nation healed”, he said as he completed his speech.
Beden was invited on stage by Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, the first colored woman to gain that position.
You chose hope, unity, courtesy and truth. You elected Joe Biden to future president of the United States”, Harris said in her speech.
“Joe is a healer. One person whose lost experience gives him a sense of purpose, which will help us as a nation restore our sense of purpose”, Harris said.
Harris praised Beden for “gux1> to break the barriers and elect a woman to vice president.
I may be the first woman in this office, but I won't be the last”, she said.
Beden will be inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States on 20 January, 2021.

Beden has served in Washington for nearly half a century, including 35 years as senator and eight years as vice president in the Barack Obama administration from 2009 to 2017.
He was born in 1942 in the town of Scranton, Pennsylvania, in a Roman Catholic middle class family.
