Basri Sejdiu confirms tender abuses at the Ministry of Health at Arben Year's time

Former USKKKKKK Director Bastri Sejdiu today at the Parliamentary Investment Commission for Administration has confirmed the purchase of masks, gloves, medicines and sacks of expensive corpses.

Sejdiu confirmed that SKKKUK has bought masks at the price of 0.016 euros, while the Health Ministry at the time of Arben Viti has contracted masks at a price of 0,56 euros and 8,00 euros.

“SHSKUK has bought the gloves at a price of 0.02 euros, while the Health Ministry has contracted them at a price of 0,52 euros. While the sacks of corpses bought from 8.00 euros usually have been contracted by the Health Ministry at 27.50 euros.”, he said.

Sejdiu also said that the medical products that USKKKKUK had contracts had been easier to order from internal contractors than to make purchases through bidders, thus doing illegal contract applications.

Former USKKKKK director Basri Sejdiu, based on his managerial experience, said contracting the Ministry of Interior for morphine was a violation of the Law for Prosecutorship, because according to him it cannot be signed with economic operators unless it has a marketing authorisation and import permission for the product.

Sejdiu's testimony to the Investigative Commission was interrupted after the two VV deputies, Fatmire Kolcak and Labinte Demi, and LDK deputy Ekrem Hyseni, left the meeting.
