Police said three random passersby were killed by two men and a woman, as well as an attacker who was shot dead by police.

Police had said earlier that several armed suspects with rifles had begun shooting in Seitenstengasse, a street in central Vienna, around 8:00 (19:00 GMT) and that the shooting occurred from six different countries.
Nehammer had earlier said at least one suspect was still at large.
Vienna has 10,000 police officers stationed in the city, and investigations are under way.
”Public must still avoid the city centre”, authorities said, writes atsh.
“We cannot rule out now that there may be other authors”, Nehammer said.
At least 15 people were injured, including a badly injured police officer.
