Armed take a few hostage in Canada, police surround the building

Dozens of people reportedly were taken hostage by armed men at an office of Montreal's lucky game company.

The event happened on Saint-Laurent Boulevard.

Canadian authorities report that kidnapped persons are employees of Ubisoft Company.

The high number of police officers taking part in the operation is seen, while some of the kidnapped persons have been hiding on the roof of the building.

Others are said to be in conference halls. It is not yet known why this kidnapping is taking place and who is behind it.

So far no injuries are reported.
