The apocalypse strikes the Philippines, up to 16 dead people

At least 16 people have lost their lives as a result of the storm and the floods caused by it.

Ten people, including a five-year-old, were reported dead in the province of Albay. Some drowned, another was taken in front of a clay mass, while one was killed by a falling tree.

Local authorities have immediately launched the evacuation of citizens, even though they say that this pandemic situation is very difficult.

Mark Timbal of the disaster agency in the Philippines has said that 19 million people may have been affected by the effects of the Goni typhoon.
