Officials of political issues say the president's issue is crucial whether or not the new elections in Kosovo will be held.
According to them now, there is no possibility that elections will be held, despite the opposition demanding this.
Coalition partners say a solution should be found for the presidential post, while PDK Vetevendosje as an opposition party, say the country must go to early elections.
But connoisseurs of political affairs say there is no possibility of this election this year.
According to political analyst Fsinik Halimi, the interest of political parties is for this composition of the Parliament to elect the new president.
It is not real to expect another 3 or 4 months of new elections. Political parties will do everything possible for this composition of the Assembly to elect the new president. If that scenario fails, elections are automatic. But it is a little reliable that now to provoke extraordinary elections”, Halimi declared on one of the local televisions.
Political affairs acquaintance Rasim Alija says extraordinary elections will be held if the election of the new president fails.
If the president's election fails, the only option is to go to early new elections. But given legal deadlines, elections could take place in May of next year. This is the optimum deadline that envisions Kosovo's laws and Constitution”, Rasim Alija said.
Besides Ramush Haradinaj, so far there is no candidate, who has made Kosovo president's candidacy public.
