America's elections: Beden starts well, wins all votes in one district

Joe Biden received the five votes cast for president in Dixville Notch, a small neighbourhood of New Hampshire along the US-Canada border that is among the first countries in the country to make known its presidential preference, reports Cun.

The payments were cast in minutes after midnight, becoming some of the first and counted on Election Day.

According to tradition, all voters justly gather at “Vote dhoma” at the Balsams resort in Dixville Notch to cast their secret ballots once the vote is opened at midnight.

Once each vote is cast, votes are collected and results are announced hours before anywhere else, making it a favourite place for reporters and observers eager for any hint of what will come on Election Day.
