Democratic Union of Integration Chairman Ali Ahmeti declared today the KLA war was fair and that its former leaders will return face-to-face from The Hague, and will eventually testify to the clean war Kosovo and its people fought.
He made these comments during a meeting with O Mission Chief The SEU in Skopje, Ambassador Clemnes Koya, with whom talked about challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic and about the situation created following the blocking of the northern Macedonia's EU membership path.
Ahmeti and Koya during the meeting have not overlooked the region, as well as the situation created following the establishment of charges by the Special Court against Kosovo President, parliament speaker and several other former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders.
Ahmeti has reiterated Ambassador Koja that the KLA war has been a struggle for freedom, fair war, and that the last indictees will also return face-to-face from The Hague and will eventually testify to the clean war Kosovo and its people have fought.
At the end of this meeting, Ahmeti and Koja expressed readiness for continued bilateral co-operation in all segments which are under OSCE competency.
