Former Ambassador Agim Ceyku , was harsh with statements by Serbian President Vucic, who compared Kosovo to Karabaku.
Ceyku said Vucic's stance provoking the stability of the Balkan region and Kosovo.
Chiek: Vucic's stance provoking the stability of the Balkan region and Kosovo. It comes at a moment of uncertainty in the US presidency. Vucic thinks he can make parallels such as the one with Karabaku where there are conflicts. In any case, the Albanian nation will react as only if Kosovo's stability is touched at all. I don't say that on behalf of the prime minister who has touched this Milosevic doll, but I say it on behalf of honest Albanians who can no longer afford such adventures of the Serbian agenda. Any attempt to touch Kosovo's stability will affect the stability of the region, and Serbia will take responsibility.
He stressed that official Tirana has an incomprehensible silence, and this shows that personal relations are confused with state relations.
Chiek: It is shameful that not even 72 hours have been made by an agreement on Minisen and free movement in the Balkans, Serbia's president comes up with a warmongering statement. While official Tirana has an incomprehensible silence, this shows that personal relations are confused with state relations. I said Rama did a personal diplomacy bypassing institutions and reason. Vucic is revealing his friend in Tirana by putting him in difficult positions and can no longer be protected by false commissions like that of Taulant Ball.
Ceyk added that he expects a reaction from Rama and that these movements are made in order to deprive Kosovo of negotiating power in relation to dialogue.
Chiek: Nothing can reverse the successes achieved by Albanians and Kosovo independence. Such political adventures are used for political interests. I expect Rama to take responsibility and respond, but I am sorry to admit that official Albania is a few steps behind the Serbian agenda, in relation to the region, economic and military power. This is a temporary arrogance that will receive the needed response from NATO and international institutions. These movements are meant to deprive Kosovo of negotiating power in relation to dialogue. This is not a secret, as we have heard before in the whisperings of Rama, Vucic and Thaci for partitioning Kosovo.
