Walter John was born on October 4th 1954 in Tirana, educated at the pre-university level, but in Tirana. In 1978 he completed university studies with the Academy of Arts at the Dramatic Art Branch, and in the same year, he begins his professional activity as an actor and director at the Army Artistic Corps, at the People's Theatre (Combat), near kinosudios “New Albania” and Albanian Radio Television. There are in his art biography 60 roles in theatre and estrada, eight roles in cinematography, five documentary films, etc.
At the same time, Walter John was nominated in some international organisms. John is the author of many cultural, artistic, problematic, informative, and historical articles in newspapers, magazines, television shows, and special publications.
Following an intensive experience in Tirana's arts and media institutions in 1991 and the following, John is appointed near Tirana City Hall, where he meets a series of tasks as the director of sectors related to art, culture, city ceremonial and international relations.
Mixing his administrative, journalistic and artistic experience outside his official functions, the author has implemented about 20 exhibitions and 8matic publications for historical, cultural and human values, primarily for Tirana. Walter John holds several honorary titles of the country and international, where the highest title is the Horseman of the French Republic's Merit Order and Order “Naim Frasher” of the Republic of Albania and “recognition of the City of Tirana
