Men who violate women or other members of the family will immediately be expelled from their residence from today's day. They thus envision changes to the Law for Anti-Function Measures, adopted by parliament on October 15, 2020. The changes are published in the Official Library on November 3, 2020, as they enter into force and will be implemented starting this Wednesday (18 November 2020).
Concretically, the amended Law predicts that, the State Police, before the court is set in motion, orders the immediate removal of violators from the residence, when victims and violators reside in the same shelter. The previous law expected the court's decision to remove the bully from his home, during which time the bully, mainly men, followed.
With the new Law, a man who violates his wife will leave his residence in record time. But where will the rioting men take refuge after leaving the apartment by police? The government will co-operate with municipalities to provide shelter for the bully men. Meanwhile, after the police intervention, the court will be put in motion, which, according to new legal changes, as a safeguard clause of domestic violence, immediately orders the violators to leave their homes for a specific time, when victims and violators reside in the same shelter. So then there will be a court that will assess the police's decision to evacuate the violators.
The court will be expressed both in the emergency or even in the country for the protection of the victim, who will be the most complete and reasoned.
Legal changes also envision the obligation of rapists to participate in psychosocial rehabilitation programs and parental training programs organised by public or private subjects. That obligation will be decided by the court in the defence order.
In the case, the court orders that the bully be treated in mental health centers and that he receive alcoology services if he is an alcoholic. These programs may also include rapists who are serving a prison sentence. /Albanian/
