Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has commented on the faithful Vetevendosje Bislim declaration regarding their credit proposal, instead of taking over 10 per cent of the Trust.
Ahmeti says that while some of the citizens have lost their jobs, how to return that loan.
Here's the full reaction:
I just heard my former colleague Prof. Faithful Bissim, who said the VV proposal is better than the Trust's 10 per cent (the LDK proposal). The proposal was this: The government should allow citizens to receive loans from the Bank and the government to pay them interest. This, according to the Faithful, would raise the apology.
I'm not a big supporter of the Trust's 10 percent increase in aggregate demand, but this VV proposal has an essential lack.
Jen's talking about people losing their jobs or business or just losing their income. We can take away the interest, but the loan is there. What about that loan? So we're only trying to borrow them, but without interest.
It would be better to lend the state to subsidise citizens or other forms of transfer and by subsidising or contracting businesses for various jobs.
Even more problematic for the left at all costs, as with measures in April, as in May as now this policy preserves the bank's profit. For the first seven months of 2020, the profits of banks in Kosovo were 45m euros. I'm not against the bank profit, but when we've put off paying the loan installments, we have been able to stop paying interest for that period. When we share the profit, let's share the loss.
B.C.E. Please spare me from party debates. We've discussed ideas in an economic crisis, hoping to find the best policies. My wish would be for this to come from the VV Socialocracy!
