Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has declared he opposes closing the capital.
Ahmeti said he opposes Pristina's closure based on unstable statistics and that he opposes closing the economy, without assistance to the economy.
He said it's for measures to slow down COVID-19, but only with measures that are reasonable and really affect the number.
“Pristina in the red area, and the open border is without any effect!”, he added.
Ahmeti made this statement after today the government is expected to clear up new decisions dealing with the situation created by COVID-19, where, last evening, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti warned of the country's possible total closure.
