The Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) has published the input prices index and prices in agriculture for the third quarter of this year, where it says that the general input index has declined to -2.2%, compared to the same period in 2019.
The AK through an announcement says this publication is based on the prices of agricultural input collected in Kosovo.
Price collection is conducted in agricultural drugs, veterinarian drugs, companies, markets and other countries, where prices of agricultural inputs are available. Some agricultural input prices are received from consumption prices (IHÇK) in the AK.
“Products that provide basis for the Inputation Prices Index are divided into two main groups: The currently consumed goods and services in agriculture (Input 1) and the goods and services that contribute to agriculture investments (Input 2). Within group Input 1, prices are collected according to the following groups: seeds and sweeting materials, energy, oils, garbage, and land repair, products for protection of plants and pesticides, veterinarian expenses, animal food products, materials maintenance, building maintenance, and other goods and services. And as for Input 2, prices are collected for materials (skinners and other equipment), other buildings (non-resident farm buildings, other jobs, besides land improvement). In the third quarter of 2020, the Input 1 index falls (-4.1%), compared to the same period in 2019. And Iput 2 index is down (-0.2%. )”
Meanwhile, the total input index 1 and has a drop to -2.2%, compared to the same period in 2019.
