40 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine are produced in India

He announced that he will soon start producing possible Novavax vaccine.
Both of these vaccines are still pending official approval. The Indian producer said he has recorded 1,600 participants for the latest phase of testing AstraZeneca vaccine and plans to seek permission for the latest phase of the Novavax vaccine testing.
The AstraZeneca vaccine, developed in collaboration with Oxford University, is the most advanced when it comes to testing people in India, the Institute adds.
Two candidates from vaccines produced in the country are also being held in India.
The number of infected people in India reached 8.6 million, and more than 128,000 patients have died so far.
